Claire Pickrell

Claire Pickrell.jpgManagement systems and quality improvement specialist, Claire Pickrell is an integral part of the North Carolina Manufacturing Extension Partnership and NC State Industry Expansion Solutions team. She has used her over 25 years of engineering and manufacturing experience to provide implementation, facilitation and training for core quality management systems and tools including problem-solving methodologies to organizations across North Carolina. Claire began her career working in the industry where she held many different roles in engineering, production and quality. She worked for Corning Incorporated for 12 years where she gained extensive experience in the automotive industry as a Tier 1 supplier.

Claire has her B.S. in materials and science engineering/ceramic engineering from The Ohio State University. She is a certified Green Belt and Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma, a trained lead auditor in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, a trained internal auditor for IATF 16949, ISO 17025 and ISO 13485. In addition, she is a NIST certified trainer in Lean manufacturing.

In her free time, Claire likes to play pickleball or tennis; go boating/paddle boarding on Lake Norman; loves hiking-exploring different areas; and loves taking long walks.
